Are you an energetic sales leader looking to grow within the steel fabrication manufacturing industry?
In this exciting position, you will be responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing, and product development programs within assigned territory, targeted toward existing and new customers.
(IL, OH, PA, IN, MI)
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implements strategic sales plans, marketing plans, and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services within the area of responsibility.
- Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets. Responsible for generating quarterly and annual sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
- Maintains primary liaison with customers (trade, affiliate, and offshore), outside sales reps, and plant operation personnel in all areas related to products manufactured.
- Maintains regular contact with all active and prospective accounts within the territory.
- Ensures communication with the customer and manufacturing partners throughout the life cycle of an order.
- Negotiate and able to effectively handle high impact/critical situations with customers, external and internal.
- Provides accurate and timely feedback on customer visits, market intelligence, and industry trends.
- Attend industry association meetings.
- Ensure the pricing forms and logs are updated and approved.
- Observe all safety rules.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of industry and processes.
- Leadership, excellent communication skills, and proven sales experience.
- Ability to work in an unsupervised environment.
- Remote - 30% travel.
Pay:
$140, $160,000.00 per year
