CSO is looking for an Assistant Director for our PACT-Youth team in Pittsfield.


Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) is an evidence-based intensive outpatient treatment program designed to assist youth overcome the barriers to their recovery from severe and persistent behavioral health disorders.


The goal of the PACT-Y service is to provide Youth and their Families with a comprehensive range of behavioral health services and supports that ensure the Youth can remain living in their community and prevent the need for out-of-home, residential, and/or hospital levels of care.

As the Assistant Director of the PACT Youth Program:


You Will:


  • Provide daytoday programmatic and administrative oversight of PACT-Y program including clinical, rehabilitative, multidisciplinary and recoveryoriented services to support clients' recovery journey.
  • Develop, oversee and participate in ongoing program activities, including onsite group and community activities that are active, flexible, ongoing, communitybased and that include assertive outreach, rehabilitation, and support.
  • Coordinate and ensure that quality services are provided within the PACT-Y team.
  • Manage the program budget with support from the Program Director.
  • Manage the referral process.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with the community including the Department of Mental Health and any other appropriate community members.
  • Manage the hiring and training of staff in collaboration with the Program Director.
  • Ensure fidelity to evidencebased models and provide onsite or homebased clinical support as needed.
  • Perform trauma informed intake assessments and complete clinical assessments.
  • Participate in collaborative care planning and case management with clients and program staff.
  • Participate in treatment planning, team meetings, inservice trainings, and other required meetings.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and timely records.

Your Background:


  • Clinical Master's degree with three years' relevant experience (required)
  • Highest level of Massachusetts' licensure in appropriate discipline (preferred)
  • 2+ years supervisory experience (preferred)
  • Must be able to work independently as well in a team environment, and follow through with projects; be able to work a flexible schedule which may include evening and weekend work, as required by client needs
  • Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
