    Position: Special Education Teachers in Sacramento, CA

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to student levels
    • Supervise and support classroom staff
    • Implement behavior support programs
    • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings
    • Maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment
    • Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies
    • Communicate regularly with parents
    • Participate in professional development activities

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree with 2 - 5 years of relevant experience
    • Valid CA Special Education Credential
    • Master's degree in special education preferred
    • Experience with special day classes and behavior interventions
    • Background clearance and relevant certifications

    Environment:

    • Work primarily in a classroom setting
    • Requires extended computer use and moderate to high noise levels
    • Physical demands include sitting, standing, and walking
    • Normal vision and hearing abilities required
