Responsibilities
Perform clinical and administrative duties that assist in the delivery of effective patient care within assigned area
Greet patients, escort them to exam room and perform vitals and other related MA duties
Demonstrate knowledge of medical practice and patient care as it relates to the clinical setting and medical specialty
Adhere to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety
Qualifications

Job Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

Must be a registered or nationally certified Medical Assistant or ability to obtain certification within 60 days of hire.

Credentials held by Medical Assistant must require a re-certification process on a regular basis
Must maintain BLS certification; and, if required, maintain training in venipuncture
Preferred Job Requirements
~ Crossed trained in other clinical specialties: Ob/Gyn, Neurology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Family Practice, and Internal Medicine
