Job Overview:

Madmen Kitchen is looking for a talented Line Cook (with potential for growth) to join their kitchen crew. The perfect candidate will have a strong love for food preparation and culinary arts, aiming to deliver top-notch quality and presentation of dishes.

Responsibilities:

Report daily to the Executive Chef for assigned tasks
Prepare cooking ingredients such as portioning, chopping, and storing food
Cook menu items in collaboration with the kitchen team
Follow recipes and presentation guidelines
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain a tidy and hygienic workspace
Assist in inventory management and supply procurement

Experience:

Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Familiarity with food safety protocols
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the kitchen team

*A Food Safety Certification of 5 years is mandatory for this role, and if not possessed, the employer will cover the cost.

*Proficiency in basic Spanish is considered a plus.
