"The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3.5-year apprenticeship as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering (m/f/d) at our location in Würzburg, starting on September 1st, 2024. The vocational school is also located in Würzburg. In addition, we will be opening a new training workshop in Würzburg in 2024, where you will receive practical training in important fundamentals.
The DB is a large company and we are looking for Electronics Technicians to work on our rails and power lines.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • Your apprenticeship will offer a lot of variety, as you will rotate between working at the company, the training workshop, and attending vocational school on a weekly basis
  • You will never be alone, as you will have dedicated trainers and will also learn alongside other apprentices, forming lifelong friendships
Working on our rails and power lines:
  • You will spend a lot of time outdoors, exploring our rail network and checking if signals (traffic lights for our trains), switches, and barriers are functioning properly, and repairing them if necessary
  • Identifying and resolving malfunctions
