The Viersen Police Department is currently seeking a salaried employee (m/f/d) for the courier service department in the Central Tasks Directorate at the earliest possible date.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a weekly workload of 39 hours and 50 minutes.


Main responsibilities:
Conducting postal and courier trips
Assisting with special police situations (including outside of regular working hours)


Candidate profile:
Recognized school leaving certificate
Preference will be given to applicants with a completed vocational training in automotive engineering or previous experience as a driver
High resilience
Strong sense of responsibility
Teamwork/social skills
Communication skills
Planning, organizational, and cooperation skills
Class B driver's license
Certificate of good conduct without entries (must be provided upon hiring), no previous criminal convictions or ongoing criminal/investigative proceedings


Salary will be based on personal qualifications and professional experience according to the collective agreement for public service employees of the federal states (TV-L) in pay group 4 TV-L.
