We are currently seeking a
Specialist for Civil Protection and Disaster Management to join our team at our office in
Bad Belzig.

This position is full-time (40 or 39 hours per week) and
unlimited. The salary is classified as A 12 or EG 11 TVöD (VKA).

Your responsibilities will include:

Civil emergency planning for the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark:
Responsibility for civil emergency planning within the district administration
Planning for the maintenance of state and government functions
Maintaining the alarm calendar
Civil protection and disaster management:
Leading the unit for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear hazards (CBRN)
Creating and updating the disaster management plan and eventspecific special plans
Handling special plans for specific objects
Tasks according to the Civil Protection and Disaster Relief Act (ZSKG)
Cooperation with subordinate institutions such as emergency services, police, and military for planning and preparedness, as well as civilmilitary cooperation
Establishing a disaster management team and taking on a leading role in the emergency response team
