Reporting to the Senior Program Officer for Community Partnerships, the Program Specialist for Community Partnerships will support the work of the team in new partner development, contact management, budget coordination, and assisting with training and technical assistance.
The Program Specialist will specifically work to ensure clear and timely communication and accurate data is shared between Global Refuge departments and affiliate partners.
This position requires a strong skillset in data management, verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and familiarity with the goals of the Reception & Placement (R&P) program.

DUTIES
- Contribute to the successful achievement of R&P Cooperative Agreement contractual requirements and programmatic outcomes.
- Regularly complete data entry, tracking, and analysis of networkwide data, including budget management.
- Contribute to Global Refuge quarterly reports, annual proposals, and annual audits to funders.
- Assist with the regular communication, dissemination, and tracking of financial and programmatic capacity awards to the Global Refuge network.
- Collect and analyze data to inform programmatic decisions working in tandem with the Resettlement team.
- Assist with regular data quality assurance processes to ensure accurate reporting and trend tracking.
- Review and track the submission of regular affiliate R&P reporting to Global Refuge
- Maintain close relationships with Global Refuge's IRIS and IT departments in order to ensure continual quality reporting and improvements of Global Refuge systems and serve as the IT liaison for new affiliate sites.
- Support the Resettlement team with online seminar management and the dissemination of resources to the Global Refuge network.
- Maintain contact lists and systems for updating appropriate lists and parties of staff changes or office relocation.
- Support unit activities including annual conferences and networkwide activities.
- Work collaboratively across teams and units.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree in social work, social sciences, nonprofit management, or related field.
- A minimum of 13 years of experience in nonprofit management and social services programs.
- Experience working with the Department of State's Reception and Placement Program is strongly preferred.
- Experience collaborating with refugees, immigrants, or limited English speakers, is preferred.
- Ability to write and edit reports and clearly interpret technical requirements.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with colleagues and partners.
- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
