Purpose/Objective:
Supports the Cash Management/Municipal Banking team by responding to client transactions and assisting with client needs identification/coordination, product delivery and sales planning.
Key Accountabilities:
- Works directly with the Director of Cash Management/Government Banking on all municipal initiatives, including proposals, client database management, rate quotes, research, client servicing and inpersonal calls as appropriate. Interfaces directly with all of the Bank's municipal clients and industry associations.
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge of product sets as well as an awareness of competitive products. Interfaces with lead generation resources including retail, municipal, commercial bankers, business bankers and cash management to identify prospect opportunities.
- Organizes precall plans and joint calls with Relationship Managers to bring in new business. Assists sales effort by serving as the backup for the automatic lead assignment process and setting call appointments.
- Supports cash management and municipal group with renewal and maintenance of existing accounts that involve direct customer contact including followup. Partners with internal staff and clients to ensure all unresolved documentation issues are tracked. Introduces and explains products to clients, prepares customized proposal letters and client letters to affect crosssell opportunities to assist with the sales effort.
- Works closely with multiple parties including centers of influence, accountants, Relationship Managers and retail/commercial support staff in all aspects of account opening/closing, cash management services, deposits, service issues and relationship management. Performs municipal and cash management operational tasks for the client.

- Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties.
Education:
- BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- 3+ years' experience selling and/or working with cash management and municipal solutions
- 5+ years selling and/or working with bank products and services with demonstrated results
Skills & Knowledge:
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Superior customer service skills
- Business savvy
- Strong computer skills
