Description:

This is a part-time position as a classroom teacher, with responsibility for adapting curriculum to plan and implement engaging and meaningful lessons for their class.

Teachers will create a supportive and intellectual learning environment for their students, and help students to develop and fulfill their academic and personal potential.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement instruction that provides purposeful, engaging, and collaborative learning experiences
• Plan and implement differentiated lessons to meet the needs of each individual learner
• Communicate student progress frequently and clearly with parents and students
• Prepare report cards and formal progress updates
• Maintain an organized, welcoming classroom environment conducive to student learning
• Collaborate in grade level team meetings
• Participate and engage in ongoing professional development
• Participate in supervisory duties as scheduled by Administration

Job Requirements:
BA degree, teaching credential preferred, but not required.
