Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Oral Oncolytics Navigator to join our team.
This position communicates frequently via telephone with oncology and hematology patients, as well as providers, specialty pharmacies, insurance companies, manufacturers, and foundation companies.
The nurse navigator works collaboratively with two coordinators to ensure patients have timely access to their oral medications, while assessing patients for clinical tolerance and compliance.
This role will be instrumental in communicating with the clinical team and the patient to ensure symptom management and medication adjustments are made as needed.
Qualifications:
- Nursing license as an LPN in the state of Virginia. Oncology experience is preferred, but not necessary
- Knowledge of insurance authorization processes and financial assistance programs is preferred but not required
Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
