In your three and a half year apprenticeship as a vehicle mechatronics technician at Minnesott Beach, your focus will be on commercial vehicle technology. In the beginning of your training, the basics of operating vehicles, safety aspects when working with vehicles, and the fundamentals of vehicle work (such as service and maintenance, fault and troubleshooting, repairs, and retrofitting) will be covered in order for you to perform your work safely and systematically. At this stage, there is no specific focus on commercial vehicles, as the basics in the vehicle sector - whether commercial vehicles or cars - are the same. After the intermediate examination, you will continue to learn in your specialization of commercial vehicle technology and will be taught the specific features of trucks, buses, and special vehicles both theoretically and practically. Our trainer and experienced colleagues from our workshop will accompany you as you apply your acquired knowledge step by step to commercial vehicles.

What to expect:
  • After successfully completing your apprenticeship, you have the opportunity to join our workshop team, which takes care of commercial vehicles in the SWK Group
  • You will receive a monthly training allowance according to the collective agreement. To start, it is 1,218.26 euros
  • You have 30 days of vacation per year
