Description

Are you interested in working with innovative machine controls and enjoy taking on new challenges? Do you have experience with agile software development methods and find it enjoyable?

If so, then you are the perfect fit for our Software Developer SPS CODESYS (m/w/d) position at Greenwood.

In addition to programming machine controls, you will also be involved in the entire process from conception to final acceptance. You will also be responsible for integration testing of SPS programs and troubleshooting any issues that may arise.

Your specific tasks will include:

Design and implementation of software modules for machine control
Interface design for connected MES (manufacturing management system)
Project management from conception to commissioning

What you bring to the table:

Completed degree in IT / Electrical Engineering / Automation Engineering or equivalent qualifications
Knowledge of practical automation technology with a focus on control technology and programming languages under IEC, preferably CODESYS
Knowledge of electrical drive technology is desirable
Ability to work independently, in a structured manner, and with enthusiasm
Team and communication skills
Resilience, reliability, and willingness to learn
Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
