Position Description:
Legal Assistant & Receptionist.


Location:
This position is in our Austin, Texas office.

Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation will be based on experience and potential for long term growth within our firm. We offer a matching 401k program, paid holidays, paid sick time and paid vacation.

Language Skills:
Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and welcoming clients and visitors coming into the office. Making a great first impression.
  • Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Taking messages, ensuring delivery and follow up by close of business the next day.
  • Managing ingoing and outgoing office mail and deliveries.
  • Scheduling and confirming appointments for team members.
  • Observing business etiquette and maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Managing conference room schedule and meeting logistics.
  • Managing the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements, reservations, and expense tracking.
  • Other duties as assigned. This is important. As a team member on occasion, you will be required to drop everything to help the firm solve a crisis for a client, support Attorneys in trial or some other critical situation.

Required Skills & Capabilities:

  • Ability to operate in a fast paced, often stressful environment. All the positions within our organization are challenging. If you're looking for a laid back, "chill" job, this is not the employment opportunity that you're looking for.
  • Prior law office experience is helpful, but not required. We will teach you how we operate and our performance standards.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills.
  • Possess and maintain excellent time management, attention to detail and critical thinking skills.
  • Significant experience working with computer word processing, spread sheets, phone & call forwarding systems and managing calendars.

$8.37 - $24.20 per hour
