Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Stable Hand to join our team.

As a Stable Hand, you will be responsible for assisting with the daily operations and maintenance of our farm and equine facilities.

This is a physically demanding role that requires a strong work ethic and a passion for working with animals.


Duties:

• Assist with the care and feeding of horses, including hay, grain, supplements, medications, etc
• Clean and maintain stalls, paddocks, and other equine areas
• Perform basic veterinary care, such as administering medications
• Assist with the maintenance of farm equipment, including skid steer, gator, drag equipment
• Handle various tasks related to animal husbandry
• Perform basic math calculations for feed measurements and medication dosages
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on a farm or with animals is preferred
• Knowledge of equine care and handling is a plus
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
• Basic math skills for feed measurements and medication dosages
• Ability to work in changing environment
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately

All positions at our company are paid positions. We do not offer unpaid internships.

• Farming: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Oregon, WI required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Oregon, WI 53575: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
