Duties:

As a Intelligence Operations Specialist, GS , your typical work assignments may include:

  • Developing, facilitating, or coordinating strategies, plans, and procedures to support all I&A programs and DHS intelligence and information programs.
  • Supporting strategic planning, programming, performance, policy, or governance projects requiring innovative and unprecedented approaches to resolving complex issues through establishing and maintaining effective working relationships within I&A, the DHS Intelligence Enterprise (IE), and the IC.
  • Coordinating strategic planning activities, leveraging partnerships with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
  • Serving as a functional advisor to assigned program/project areas.
  • Developing plans, graphics, presentations, briefing materials, and finished reports on findings and recommendations for management.

  • You must successfully pass a background investigation.
  • You must submit to a preemployment drug test.

  • Must obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.

Qualifications:


Specialized Experience:


You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in Federal service or equivalent private/public sector experience.


For this position, specialized experience is defined as:

  • Identifying new and established sources and analyze gathered information to develop strategies, policies, plans, or procedures.
  • Developing or delivering highquality oral or written presentations for an executivelevel audience.

NOTE:
Your resume must explicitly indicate how you meet this requirement; otherwise, you will be found ineligible.

  • Substitution of education in lieu of specialized experience may not be used for this grade level.
