Job Summary:


  • Our rapidly growing company is looking for a Business Development Associate to expand and oversee the execution of Global Situation Room's business strategy.


Your main responsibilities will include shaping the company's overall approach to sales from start to finish and overseeing multiple projects across departmental and organizational boundaries.

You will be expected to perform extensive market research to gather valuable insights and identify industry best practices, then translate those findings into clear strategies and measurable goals.


What You'll Do:


  • Develop a comprehensive business strategy and oversee its execution.
  • Sell our services to businesses and foundations in the private, government and nonprofit sectors.
  • Assess new business opportunities with a strong revenue target in mind.
  • Maintain strong and prosperous working relationships with important clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior managers, partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify, explore, and evaluate business opportunities, perform risk assessment, and mitigate potential risks.

What You'll Need:


  • 35 years of experience in business development
  • Proven book of business or prospects required.
  • The ability to translate complex business concepts into easytounderstand strategies and tasks.
  • Expert networking skills to generate new business opportunities and nurture relationships with existing clients.
  • Proven success in winning, delivering, and retaining key clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong new business experience specifically has sought out, pitched and closed business opportunities.
  • Must have ability to develop thoughtful pitch and sales materials draft pitch and presentations, decks, onepagers, and marketing language for the website.
