Join our team We are currently looking for a dedicated
Kitchen Assistant (m/f/d) to join the kitchen team at Volkssolidarität in 12683 Berlin-Hellersdorf.

This is a part-time position with a weekly workload of 30 hours, working 5 days a week.


Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of cold and hot dishes
  • Support in the daily cooking process for community catering
  • Compliance with legally required hygiene regulations, especially HACCP
  • Portioning for our "Meals on Wheels" program and dishwashing
  • Cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • Proper storage of food items

Your profile

  • Previous experience in community catering
  • Excellent written and spoken German skills are mandatory
  • Experience in preparing cold dishes
  • Support in the daily cooking process for community catering
  • Knowledge of HACCP
  • Assistance in the hot kitchen
  • Serving meals
  • Dishwashing and cleaning tasks
  • Motivation and willingness to learn new things

We offer

  • Regular working hours according to the schedule, with a 5day work week
  • Parttime / 6 hours / Permanent contract
  • Fair and competitive salary of €12.00 per hour
