Job Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Monitor and record all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, and statements.
  • Match packing slips to purchase orders and then to invoices.
  • Enter invoices into accounting software and prepare checks for payment.
  • Verify entries and compare system reports to balances to ensure accuracy.
  • Reconcile processed work and maintain historical records.
  • Verify and process employee expense reports.
  • Place orders and follow up on all open purchase orders to check the status of delivery.
  • Respond to all vendor inquiries regarding payments and credits.
  • Prepare analyses of specific accounts and produce monthly financial reports.
  • Handle accounts payables, general ledger journal entries, and credit card reconciliations.
  • Work with the leadership team to improve recordkeeping processes.
  • Continuously seek to improve the payment process.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks related to bookkeeping and recordkeeping.
  • Proficient in accounts payable, receivables, general ledger work, and reconciliation.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient with accounting/financial software platforms; experience with AccuFund or similar platform preferred.
  • Demonstrated desire and motivation to learn new skills and expand knowledge for job performance and selfimprovement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, management, and occasionally customers/guests.
  • Commitment to excellence, cooperation, and confidentiality in all organizational standards.

Pay:
$55, $65,000.00 per year
