culture page.**Our North American Semiconductor group is searching for an experienced Administrative Assistant in the Austin, TX office.


Key Responsibilities include:


  • Types correspondence, quotes, proposals and reports from notes, copy or rough draft requiring understanding of statistical and/or technical language for assigned area.
  • Answers telephones; assists callers and relays messages; may serve as relief receptionist.
  • Maintains routine files and records (may include database information); classifies, sorts and files documents.
  • Opens and distributes mail/faxes.
  • Maintains executive's business calendar and schedules meetings; prepares expense reports.
  • May compose routine correspondence and reports, gathering information from specified sources.
  • Supports Facility Manager.
  • Supports the Accounts Receivable and Collections Department.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Knowledge:


  • Requires working knowledge of secretarial duties including good typing and computer skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Word, Excel (formulas, macros, VBA) and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently type, reproduce and distribute routine correspondence, quotes, proposals and reports.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently organize, file and maintain records and files.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask.
  • Incumbent typically has a minimum of two years related experience.
