Description

The Theatre Scholar in Residence will:

Teach a 1/1 course load.
Create and execute an event, research, exhibition or performance during the residency.
Attend monthly meetings during the academic year with the Director of Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center and cohort of fellow scholars.
Attend CWMCA & SoTD events and serve as a community ambassador for UH.

This position is a nine-month appointment with an option for renewal. Salary is $45,000 with a $1250 budget for project support.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have completed a graduate degree in theatre (either MFA or PhD). Applicants should have definitive interdisciplinary research interests they wish to pursue while a Scholar in Residence.
