- Identify and resolve short term customer driven shortages and communicate to Sales Organization.
- Work closely with team members and suppliers to resolve problem deliveries.
- Review inventory levels to achieve and maintain budgeted levels and Corporate Inventory turns.
- Handle returns and follow through with credits owed from supplier.
- Maintain planning parameters including Safety Stocks, Multiples, and Planning Periods.
- Manage supplier delivery information Maintaining files, price books, vendor policies, inventory master file, and approved vendor list.
- Evaluate suppliers weekly for potential delivery or pricing problems
- Resolve PO discrepancies with suppliers
- Strong communications skills for inside and outside the Company
- Strong written and communication skills very accurate.
- Attention to detail, accountable, and well organized
- Inventory Control Skills understanding of Cycle Counts
- Strong in negotiating best pricing and terms on purchases.
- Communicating with vendors to obtain product or service information including price, availability and delivery schedule.
- Four or more years of experience in manufacturing purchasing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects

Review PORG (Purchase Order Requirement Generation) for requirements and release proper Purchase Orders. Order stock items and process stock P.O.s for all departments, maintaining approved inventory levels.
