- Objective:
- Responsibilities:
- Utilize Sonic Automotive's automated inventory management system
- Monitor market trends in the designated geographic area
- Physically inspect inventory before making purchasing decisions
- Build strong relationships with dealership and corporate associates to efficiently place inventory.
- Requirements:
- Detailed knowledge of retail and wholesale auto sales processes
- Proficient in web-based research tools and Microsoft Office software
- Strong analytical and valuation skills with keen attention to detail
- Effective time management and adherence to deadlines
- Ability to assess vehicle sale conditions and understand reconditioning procedures
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of wholesale purchasing experience
- Minimum 2 years of retail automotive sales experience
- Prior experience with in-person auction buying
