Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Human Resources Assistant to join our team. The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative support to the HR department and assist with various HR functions. This position requires proficiency in data entry, record keeping, and strong attention to detail.
Duties:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Process payroll and maintain employee timekeeping records
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Prepare HRrelated documents such as offer letters, employment contracts, and termination letters
- Assist with employee relations activities, including organizing employee events and recognition programs
- Conduct research on HRrelated topics as assigned
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred 1+ years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a Human Resources department
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Paychex) is a plus
- Familiarity with payroll processing software (e.g., QuickBooks) is a plus
- Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills Please note that all positions at our company are paid positions.
Pay:
$ $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
