We are currently seeking a reliable and personable Cashier to join our team and contribute to our mission of enhancing the cannabis retail experience.

Responsibilities:

Accurately and efficiently process transactions using the point of sale (POS) system, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly and payments are handled securely.
Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision, balancing cash drawers at the beginning and end of each shift.
Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting cashier station and retail floor, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and tidying up as needed.
Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with age restrictions and legal regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, contribute to a positive work environment, and uphold Qube's brand standards.
Stay uptodate on industry trends, new product releases, and changes in regulations affecting the cannabis industry.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and local regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of cannabis products.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in the cannabis industry.
Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to handle cash transactions securely.
Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
Team player with a positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn and adapt.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
