- Pull, analyze, and present findings on ecommerce performance in weekly, biweekly and monthly meetings with editorial and executive teams
- Keep the executive, business development and editorial teams updated on pacing to ensure yearly goals are achieved
- Assist editors in content planning through insights from past performance most notably for preparation on major shopping holidays
- Regular data analysis to search for coding and API ingest errors to ensure our reporting and performance is as accurate as possible
- Ad hoc reporting on various projects to keep the team aware of what is working and to identify new testing ideas/opportunities
- Work with social, SEO and audience development teams to identify new ways to reach potential readers based on actionable insights
- Help identify industry trends and areas of opportunity for each website individually
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
Salary range:
$65,000-$75,000.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years' experience in ecommerce strategy, sales analysis, digital marketing or analytics
- Experience working in spreadsheet tools (ie. Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets) and data visualization required
- Experience working with an ecommerce publisher a plus
- Experience in affiliate marketing a plus
Skills:
- Strong understanding of data analysis and ability to think creatively about cause and effect
- Strong attention to detail especially in relation to spreadsheets
- Strategic thinking and problemsolving skills
- Knowledge of affiliate marketing platforms a plus
- An inquiring mind that is able to find both the problem and the solution
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and requests at once
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams
Additional Requirements:
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Hybrid:This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
