Job Summary:

Organizes and directs day-to-day clerical function in the delivery of quality health care services. Provides leadership and guidance to clerical staff.


Essential Functions:


  • Leads team in workflow processes and may provide input to performance feedback process if/when necessary.
  • Problemsolves for other Patient Service Representatives and clerical support staff in department/practice.
  • Serves as main point of contact for Providers in identifying and addressing operational issues.
  • Oversees and manages productivity, performance and quality metrics.
  • Possesses the ability to perform the roles of Patient Services Representative, Associate, Intermediate and Senior roles when necessary.
  • Actively participates in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures where appropriate and completes all position and unit safety related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.

Qualifications:


  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred Associate's Degree
  • 10 years of relevant experience typically gained through skills/ knowledge / abilities of related experience Required
