    The Role:
    As a TopSpot Project Manager, you will guide both new and existing Customers through website projects that differentiate their business online and grow their qualified leads. Project Managers partner with Customers from the initial conception of the project to design, development, and post launch results. They also guide teammates and connect multiple departments to create a successful product and provide a fantastic customer experience along the way. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, a strategic planner that is conscious of scope and timelines, and highly customer focused.

    Essential Functions:

    Own the strategic planning and execution of website development projects, managing multiple clients at different stages, project timelines, and budgets with competing priorities.

    Set the strategic vision for portfolio of Customers and your Project Team to keep projects connected to TopSpot best practices & Customer's business objectives, as well as help drive projects within scope, on-time, and to a high standard.

    Plan & monitor the utilization of Project Team resources and strategically plan & adjust based on scopes, workloads, budgets, and client priorities. Communicate proactively among Teammates & Manager if/when projects are on track or off-track to manage risks and develop plans accordingly.

    Serve as the primary contact for your portfolio of new & existing Customers with website projects. Communicate with Customers in a way that instills confidence through in-person visits, Zoom/video calls, phone calls, and email. (You are someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone)
    • You are thoughtful & intentional about a personalized customer experience, and this shows through your communication and helpfulness with project stakeholders on progress, results, timelines, and deliverables
    Partner with all departments across TopSpot to guide Customers and deliver a successful website launch that gets results. Examples include:
    • Working with our Sales Teams or Customer Relationship Teams for accurate scoping, project goals, and benchmark data & results
    • Partnering with Customer Relationship Teams and Paid Search Team Members on historical data & results, key differentiators & competitive analysis, to build and improve on digital marketing results in the next website's iteration
    • Guiding/supporting Design and Development Team Members for resource utilization, strategic planning, and holding yourself and all teammates accountable to TopSpot standards and client business objectives to create a successful website and client experience.
    • Collaborating with Analytics for accurate analytics solution installations and the monitoring of lead quantity and quality of leads post-launch
    Strategically identify areas to create greater efficiencies, improve our processes & results, and support our best practices and standards in SEO, SEM, Web Design & Development, Analytics, & Video.

    Continuously stay updated on the Digital Marketing Industry & Industrial/B2B spaces to grow your knowledge and build credibility with Teammates and Customers. This includes Google Alerts, Webinars, email lists for industry websites, or social platforms like LinkedIn to keep a pulse on digital marketing, project management best practices, and thought leadership in the spaces.

    Qualifications

    Experience managing projects and/or teams that have delivered projects on-time, within scope, and to specific quality standards. You are capable of guiding, coaching, and having constructive conversations to meet goals & deliver successful website projects.

    Familiarity through previous roles, coursework, and/or continuing education on project management frameworks like Agile, Waterfall, etc.

    Customer service experience where you've served as a main point of contact, communicating frequently and intentionally with Customers through all communication forms (email, video, phone, in-person). You operate with a sense of urgency and a bias for action that instills confidence in your reliability and results.

    Working knowledge of digital marketing industry including SEO, SEM, Web Design & Development.

    Excellent communication skills, which include active listening and critical thinking. This is a customer-facing role where consistent, proactive, timely, and intentional communication with Customers is an expectation as part of a great Customer experience.

    Strong organizational and time management skills. Experience with tracking time, managing resource utilization, and forecasting time, workload, and bandwidth through a Project Management tool are a plus.

    Ability to manage & prioritize multiple projects at different phases, with varying scopes, budgets, and timelines. You are flexible and adaptable in responding and accommodating reasonable changes in priorities, timelines and communicating proactively through them.

    Strong problem solving & critical thinking skills. You can perform a root-cause analysis, listen actively, and collaboratively develop solutions that are most helpful and appropriate considering all angles of a challenge/problem and putting yourself in your Teammate's and Customer's shoes.

    Preferred Technical Qualifications

    Previous work experience at a marketing agency or specifically in Project Management

    Familiarity with marketing analytics & lead qualification tools; Google Analytics Certification a plus

    B2B or Industrial experience

    Proficiency in Project Management tools like MavenLink, Basecamp, , and/or Trello

    Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and/or common Content Management Systems

    Project Management certification (like PMP, Google Project Management Certification) or goals to work towards it

    This is a hybrid role in Houston, TX with remote options in Texas (outside of Houston) upon approval.
