Adjunct Instructor - ESOL and English Composition
Salary: Current adjunct rate
MVCC's School of Humanities invites applications for part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach courses in: English for Speakers of Other Languages, and English Composition. Teaching faculty at MVCC have the primary responsibility of fulfilling the College mission of providing high-quality educational opportunities to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Adjunct faculty members teach contracted classes in accordance withestablished policies and guidelines. For Spring 2024, we are seeking adjunctinstructors to teach in-person between 8:00am and 4:00pm only. This positionmay include class assignments at the Rome or Utica campus. Specific assignmentswill be made according to the academic qualifications and availability of theindividual and School needs.
Qualifications:
ESOL: Master's degree in related field & Bachelor's degree in discipline OR Master's degree in discipline & Bachelor's degree in related field
English Composition: Master's degree in related field & Bachelor's degree in discipline (English)
