We seek candidates with: (1) an understanding of the college mission and teaching experience in a comprehensive community college; (2) a focus on student success in a learner-centered environment; and (3) a willingness to use technology to support learning in the academic setting, including on-line instruction and assessment of student learning outcomes.The School of Health Sciences is seeking an Adjunct Instructor to teach in an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)-accredited, Associate's Degree nursing program. Responsibility includes clinical assignments offered during the day, evening or weekend to off-campus clinical sites.

This position requires student advisement and committee responsibilities, curriculum development and program assessment activities, variable teaching schedules and alternative instructional strategies as assigned. Participation in service-based learning and interest in international initiatives are appreciated.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in New York State
• Master's degree in Nursing at the time of appointment (or enrolled)
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment
• Flexibility in schedule and a willingness to work and contribute collaboratively
