    Job Summary

    This role involves providing top-tier administrative support, including handling high-level administrative tasks such as organizing large events, meetings, and conferences, managing inquiries and projects, as well as space planning. Responsibilities also encompass budget preparation, scheduling, reporting, and tracking information, along with a range of complex meeting preparations and correspondence duties. The position requires proactive decision-making, adherence to company policies, and a sound understanding of departmental practices.

    This position is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week at a nearby Cigna office and the rest of the time working from home.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Offer executive administrative assistance to the Market Growth Leader and local market leadership team, handling tasks such as calendar management, expense reporting, and general support
    • Create and update presentations and materials, including editing in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
    • Provide assistance in meeting and event support, ensuring proper setup and cleanup, managing catering, and supporting various projects as needed, including high-profile events with senior leaders, brokers, and clients
    • Support local community and civic affairs events, participating in event planning, management, and logistics
    • Aid in projects within a busy sales office, including office initiatives, mail, supply management, and facility oversight
    • Manage office supplies, promotional items, and budget maintenance
    • Handle printing requests, including printing, binding, and shipping materials
    • Collaborate with internal partners, brokers, and clients in a professional manner
    • Provide backup support to other administrative professionals as necessary
    • Undertake additional assigned responsibilities

    Requirements

    • Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant, especially supporting senior leadership, is preferred
    • Experience in office or facility management is advantageous
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel is crucial, with a strong understanding of Excel
    • Familiarity with health insurance processes is beneficial
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
    • Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and adapt to change
    • Excellent organizational skills for both independent and team work settings
    • Capacity to meet deadlines, work under pressure, and anticipate customer and business needs
    • Background in budgeting or accounting is a plus
    • Experience in project management is desirable
    • High School Diploma is required
