- Responsible for performing daily office tasks such as filing, scanning, data entry, recording, maintaining records, copying, posting and other similar duties, using a computer terminal and limited word processing.
- Will be required to assist with any day-to-day operations specific to the Social Work Program, and its faculty.
- Follows organization and department procedures to complete tasks in a timely manner, and other duties as assigned.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

- Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Microsoft Word & Excel).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Acrobat is an added plus.
- Ability to type wpm.
- Ability to run on-campus errands.
- Would prefer someone who is a self-starter.
- Extra skills beyond those listed here (computer and otherwise) are a plus.
- A command of the English language, as the student will be required to handle correspondence, data processing and answer telephones in a professional manner, as well as work extensively with student files.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within the department.
- Student will need to be able to work independently.
- Student must possess ability to work well with MWSU students, faculty and staff.
