Job Position:
Inventory Control Specialist (Houston)
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records to ensure efficient production and distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory records, track stock levels, and ensure timely reordering of materials and products.
Auditing and Reporting:
Conduct regular inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare detailed reports for management.
Coordination:
Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure optimal inventory levels and smooth workflow.
Process Improvement:
Identify and implement improvements in inventory control processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
System Management:
Utilize inventory management software to update and monitor inventory data, and train staff on its use.
Compliance:
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, supply chain management, or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Supervising Experience: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Houston, TX 77031: Relocate before starting work (required)
