    We are seeking to hire a Digital Solutions Senior Product Owner to join our team

    What we need:

    The Digital Solutions Senior Product Owner is responsible for the vision and strategy of key client and financial professional facing capabilities for Cetera's RIA Solutions and investment advisory digital offerings. This role owns product strategy, experience design, and user story and requirements documentation and execution for owned features and functionality and will help drive the product strategy/roadmap in collaboration with product managers and business partners.

    Candidates need to possess a strong, integrated skillset that combines digital product development/ownership skills with business analyst skills and RIA business model and independent financial advisor domain expertise. They should also be capable of leading and collaborating within a matrixed team structure and successfully delivering complex technological solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This individual will also play a key role in product testing, training & education, marketing/communications, go-to-market activities, and ongoing support related activities. This role will work on sensitive, high priority items where maintaining confidentiality is essential.

    What you will do:
    • Drive the success of the product capabilities and features by ensuring alignment with user needs, business goals, and market trends.
    • Curate and maintain the product backlog, prioritizing the most valuable features and enhancements based on business objectives, user feedback, and consumer and market needs.
    • Collaborate with financial professionals, members of their teams, internal business partners, and end-clients to co-operatively design new features/enhancements.
    • Partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze, understand, and document business needs and objectives.
    • Lead the discovery process to investigate product opportunities and help develop wireframes and prototypes to validate research use cases.
    • Gather and document requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria.
    • Construct user journey maps/flows, process flows, and other supporting visual and requirements documentation.
    • Conduct market, competitive, and user research to inform the product strategy and roadmap and lead RFP/RFIs
    • Partner with program/project management, user experience, development, and testing teams to execute and deliver against shared business objectives and delivery milestones.
    • Drive awareness and promote the usage of digital solutions by clearly communicating and presenting their value and benefits internally within the company, at conferences and events, and/or with prospective financial advisors/institutions.
    • Participate in go-to-market planning, including product launches, promotions, and communication strategies.
    • Act as product owner for RIA focused agile delivery team, bringing in the voice of the customer and internal stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of product objectives
    What you need to have (basic qualifications):
    • Bachelor's degree
    • 5+ years of digital product management and/or related experience with financial advisor and/or consumer facing products/solutions.
    • Financial Services experience required with RIA business model and independent financial advisor domain expertise and other vertical industries a nice to have.
      Experienced leader and/or influencer of people and distributed teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to work on sensitive initiatives, showing discretion while helping drive projects forward.
    • Data and insight driven approach to understanding the marketplace, customer needs (end-consumer and financial professional), and competitor offerings.
    • Proven ability to engage, collaborate, and engender trust with other teams (including user-experience and development teams).
    • Lean/design thinking/user centered design approach to product vision, design, and roadmap management.
    • Passion for following and understanding technology trends with the ability to understand how to take advantage of them from a product roadmap and innovation perspective.
    • Ability to understand technical subject matter and make informed decisions/trade-offs in partnership with application development and engineering teams.

    Compensation:

    The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $150,000, plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
