"What can you make of yourself with Salem? The apprenticeship as a specialist warehouse operator (m/f/d) offers you an optimal combination of theory and practice, as well as exciting challenges in the retail trade. During your 2-year apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at one of the largest food retailers in Germany and actively work on future projects for EDEKA Fruchtkontor Logistik GmbH.


These tasks await you:

As part of a functioning team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the wholesale warehouse - from goods receipt to storage to shipping to individual EDEKA stores.


You will learn all activities of warehouse logistics:
from goods receipt, to storage, to picking. You will keep an eye on the planning, organization, and monitoring of the equipment and resources used. You will also learn how to use the necessary IT systems for logistics.

You will experience the conception, optimization, and implementation of planning and organizational processes up close and count them among your tasks.

What do you need to bring? Passion and enthusiasm for trade and logistics, a very good ESA (first school leaving certificate) or a good MSA (middle school leaving certificate), commitment, reliability, and teamwork skills, careful work and organizational talent, endurance and physical resilience.
