- Collaborate with team members and other teams to create an optimal search experience
- Conduct research and experimentation to develop smarter search functionalities for medical text
- Prototype new features to enhance user search experience and efficiency
- Stay updated on advancements in technology like Generative AI, Machine Learning, NLP, and search methodologies
- Innovate and create proofs of concept to showcase AI applications in problem-solving
- Integrate solutions into the product ensuring scalability, performance, and adherence to industry standards
- Measure quality, reproducibility, and performance of solutions
- Participate in cross-disciplinary research projects
- Effectively collaborate with different stakeholders including product managers, clinicians, data scientists, and software engineers
- Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Computer Science or related field with a focus on NLP or Machine Learning
- 5+ years of software development experience in the industry
- 2+ years of experience in developing production-ready solutions using AI technologies
- Proficiency in Python and related libraries/frameworks/tools
- Expertise in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch
- Knowledge of Gen AI methodology for NLP and related frameworks
- Experience with cloud-based platforms like Azure, Google Cloud
- Domain knowledge in medical text and web search engine development is advantageous
- Familiarity with agile and Software Development Lifecycle tools
- Demonstrated collaborative skills
