Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to hire as the Preschool Director.

The Center Director will play a pivotal role in the overall management and success of our institution, overseeing various aspects of operations, staff management, and community engagement.

This is a full-time contracted position, from the end of August ? June each year. Summer hours are also required as needed and are paid outside of the contracted salary.


Duties

• Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and maintain necessary certifications
• Be a lead teacher in a preschool classroom 5 mornings a week and work 5 afternoons in the office to perform Director administrative duties
• Collaborate with Executive Board, Business Manager, and staff on policies and procedures
• Mentor and support teaching staff in curriculum development and professional growth
• Conduct teacher observations and evaluations in accordance with our Policies and Procedures handbook
• Interview prospective employees in conjunction with the Executive Board and Business Manager
• Communicate regularly with families and update school website and social media platforms
• Attend all staff meetings, Executive Board meetings, and community events as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor?s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education (Master?s degree preferred)
• Meet all State of New Hampshire Bureau of Childcare Licensing requirements for a Center Director
• Knowledge of NH state licensing regulations and procedures
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience in curriculum planning and development
• Ability to work collaboratively with our Executive Board, Business Manager and Teaching Staff
• Computer literate, with proficiency and working knowledge of Google Docs
• First Aid and CPR certification required

Nice To Haves
Two years experience working in a Preschool setting.

Strong curriculum development for Preschool age children
