Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need.
As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others. We have 4hr, 6hr, 8hr, 10hr, and 12hr shifts available. We need consistent experienced caregivers that are ready to work If that's you contact us today to get hired. Current openings are in the following areas 77433, 77079, 77019, 77077, 77006, and 77056.Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary requirements
- Support clients with physical therapy exercises and range of motion activities
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with clients
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients
- Follow all HIPAA regulations to ensure client privacy and confidentiality
- Adhere to resident rights and promote independence and dignity
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or related field preferred (e.g., nursing, social work)
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques is a plus
- Ability to effectively communicate and build rapport with clients of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
- Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring
- Familiarity with home care procedures and practices is beneficial
- Experience in childcare or patient care is advantageous

All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
