    Columbine Therapy Services is currently seeking applications for a skilled PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).

    • PRN (as needed basis) - Availability for weekday (Monday-Friday) support to Columbine Therapy team(s) is preferred.
    • SNF/Inpatient Rehab setting
    • Competitive wage with shift differential

    Physical Therapy Assistant - PTA

    • Delivers high-quality care in line with the treatment plan outlined by the DPT.
    • Refers patients back to the DPT if a change in treatment plan is required due to a shift in the patient's condition.
    • Collaborates with the DPT on patient status and progress.
    • Provides instructions on home programs to patients and/or their family members.
    • Maintains accurate records related to patient care.
    • Communicates changes or adjustments in the treatment plan or patient condition with physicians, family, and other team members.
    • Supports the Physical Therapy Department with staff education and in-service sessions as necessary.
    • Stays updated on clinical competencies through ongoing education opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
    • Current Colorado Physical Therapy Assistant license or eligibility.
    • Preferably, experience in geriatric and long-term care.
