Description
"Hello, I am looking for a teacher for a child with ADHD who is medicated and has a learning disorder. All subjects are taught in Basque, although it is not his native language. We speak Spanish. The child also studies Spanish and English. He will be starting 5th grade and failed Basque last year because his teacher gradually removed his accommodations to see if he could manage without them, but he ended up failing. He barely passes. He is good at math but struggles with anything related to letters in math. His biggest problem is expressing himself, regardless of the language. Even in Spanish, he has difficulty. He is also shy, which makes him even more nervous when he can't find the right words and gets overwhelmed... I need someone who knows and has experience with children like him. He has been attending an academy twice a week for two years, but we haven't seen any progress. He is competitive and enjoys games, so maybe we can find activities that won't overwhelm him and make him feel comfortable while working. His sisters help him study because they know Basque, and that's how he has been passing. I hope this information helps you understand him better.
