    Job Title: Kitchen and Service Manager

    Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen and Service Manager to join our team at our bustling restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As the Kitchen and Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen and front-of-house operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, service excellence, and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Kitchen Management:
    • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
    • Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to maximize profitability.
    • Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
    • Develop and update menu offerings based on seasonal availability and customer preferences.
    • Service Management:
    • Oversee front-of-house operations, including hosting, serving, and bartending.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
    • Maintain a welcoming and organized dining environment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to company standards.
    • Train and supervise service staff to deliver attentive and courteous service to guests.
    • Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists to optimize seating capacity and guest flow.
    • Leadership and Administration:
    • Lead by example, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment among team members.
    • Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and manage labor costs to meet budgetary goals.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
    • Handle administrative tasks such as payroll processing, reporting, and record-keeping.
    • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for business growth and improvement.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Service Manager, or similar role in the restaurant industry.
    • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Solid understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
