    Description

    City Experiences is hiring an Able Bodied Seaman for our City Ferry operation in Dauphin Island, AL.

    About You:
    This individual must be flexible, energetic, and embrace City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

    About the Opportunity:

    • Support the safe operation of the vessel, surpassing industry standards.
    • Promote integrity and provide excellent customer service to guests and colleagues.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Ensure safety during ferry operations for passengers, vessel, and river.
    • Participate in onboard training and drills.
    • Maintain shipboard safety procedures knowledge and usage of safety equipment.
    • Comply with USCG and other regulatory agencies' requirements.
    • Assist with vessel operation, mooring, docking, and maintenance.
    • Provide feedback on guest service and safety issues.
    • Handle money, prepare reports, and use Personal Protective Equipment.
    • Know safety equipment locations and emergency procedures.
    • Adhere to Company's values, safety protocols, and SOPs.

    Requirements & Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma.
    • Valid U.S.C.G Able Bodied Seaman license.
    • Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC card).
    • First Aid/CPR Certification.
    • Driver's License.
    • Advanced seamanship knowledge.
    • Experience in overseeing vessel operations.
    • Ability to interact effectively with passengers and colleagues.
    • Physical ability to perform job tasks.
