Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM OR 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Port Huron, MI

Aegis Worldwide is hiring for a Quality Engineer in Port Huron, MI As a Quality Engineer at our Tier 1 Automotive company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch of high-quality products with our suppliers and customers. You will be responsible for coordinating quality-related activities throughout the project lifecycle, from the offer phase to product release.

Responsibilities:

Act as the primary point of contact in the project team for all quality assurance (QA) requirements from the offer phase to release, ensuring grade 1 quality standards.
Planning concerning project management
Supplier audits, process inspections at suppliers and definition of Q targets with suppliers
Create work and test instructions in project phase.
Quality planning discussions with customers
Processing complaints from customer and supplier side
Handling of initial samples from suppliers to customers

Requirements:

High School diploma/GED required.
A university degree in Quality or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technician, or related field is preferred.
Experience in the automotive industry is essential.
Experience with automotive supplier audits is highly desirable.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field, including leadership experience.
