Aegis Worldwide is hiring for a Quality Engineer in Port Huron, MI As a Quality Engineer at our Tier 1 Automotive company, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful launch of high-quality products with our suppliers and customers. You will be responsible for coordinating quality-related activities throughout the project lifecycle, from the offer phase to product release.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact in the project team for all quality assurance (QA) requirements from the offer phase to release, ensuring grade 1 quality standards.
• Planning concerning project management
• Supplier audits, process inspections at suppliers and definition of Q targets with suppliers
• Create work and test instructions in project phase.
• Quality planning discussions with customers
• Processing complaints from customer and supplier side
• Handling of initial samples from suppliers to customers

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED required.
• A university degree in Quality or Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technician, or related field is preferred.
• Experience in the automotive industry is essential.
• Experience with automotive supplier audits is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the field, including leadership experience.
