Description
Local landscaping company is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to add to their team.

AP/AR Accounting Clerk


Reports to:
Controller


Summary:
Perform multiple accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting tasks to support the Accounting team. Work cooperatively to ensure that work is completed timely and accurately.

  • Prepare, post, verify and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable
  • Appropriately monitor invoicing exceptions and unique customer situations while keeping other internal team members aware of the issues
  • Ensure Manual Recurring Invoices and Maintenance Invoices are processed timely and accurately
  • Track job progress and prepare project job cost reports for closed jobs
  • Draft correspondence for standard pastdue accounts and collections identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent account holders to request payment
  • Create reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested
  • Research customer discrepancies and pastdue amounts
  • File and maintain paid vendor invoices
  • Input vendor/subcontractor invoices for payment
  • Reconcile manual check account
  • Process new vendors
  • Resolve all issues related to accounts payable
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

What Will You Bring:

Pay:
$ $26.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Cost accounting: 2 years (preferred)
