Job Statement:
Perform work primarily in the deck department, but may be required to work in all departments on board vessel as directed by the Deck Officer on Watch.
Essential Functions:
- Perform daily sanitary duties on board vessel.
- Perform deck maintenance work as directed.
- Assist as directed in making/breaking tows.
- Assist in Galley as directed.
- Assist in unloading/loading barges as directed.
- Assist in vessel mooring operations as directed.
- Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.
- Participate in safety training and drills as required.
