Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified candidate to fill a postdoctoral position at our Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research - Atmospheric Environmental Research (IMKIFU) in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

The position is in the "Atmospheric Variability and Trends" research group, focusing on atmospheric chemistry and physics.

Our team operates three midlatitude sites - Zugspitze (2964 m a.s.l.), Schneefernerhaus (2650 m a.s.l.), and Garmisch-Partenkirchen (734 m a.s.l.) - which are among the best-equipped atmospheric observation facilities in the world.

Using up-looking optical soundings and numerical models, we address key questions in climate science.
