Supervisor - Korean-Speaking

Mission Hills, CA

Note:
This position is for a bilingual English and Korean-Speaking role. Fluency in the Korean language (written and spoken) is required.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the
provision of quality services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

Develop & revise support plans with supported individuals, their family members, and their staff.

Maintain contact and communication with assigned families.

Recruit, hire, train, and monitor direct support staff (DSPs).

Identify and support staff training needs.
Ensure ongoing safety requirements are implemented as appropriate and needed.
Provide backup handson support, as needed.
Complete all documentation as required.
Maintain regular communication with case managers, department team members, and other stakeholders.
Comply with all policies and procedures of the organization.
Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

Fluent in Korean language _
(speaking, reading, writing)_
-
Bachelors degree in a related Human Service field.
-
Two (2) years experience providing intensive support to individual with significant behavior challenges.
-
Six (6) years hands-on experience working with persons with developmental disabilities (may be substituted for the degree).

Preferred Qualifcations:

Knowledge of appropriate, noninvasive behavioral supports
Knowledge of virtual means of contact for routine use, e.g. ZOOM, HD Meetings, TEAMS, FaceTime, etc
