Supervisor - Korean-Speaking
Mission Hills, CA
Note:
This position is for a bilingual English and Korean-Speaking role. Fluency in the Korean language (written and spoken) is required.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the
provision of quality services to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
Develop & revise support plans with supported individuals, their family members, and their staff.
- Maintain contact and communication with assigned families.
Recruit, hire, train, and monitor direct support staff (DSPs).
- Identify and support staff training needs.
- Ensure ongoing safety requirements are implemented as appropriate and needed.
- Provide backup handson support, as needed.
- Complete all documentation as required.
- Maintain regular communication with case managers, department team members, and other stakeholders.
- Comply with all policies and procedures of the organization.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:

Fluent in Korean language _
(speaking, reading, writing)_

Bachelors degree in a related Human Service field.

Two (2) years experience providing intensive support to individual with significant behavior challenges.

Six (6) years hands-on experience working with persons with developmental disabilities (may be substituted for the degree).
Preferred Qualifcations:
- Knowledge of appropriate, noninvasive behavioral supports
- Knowledge of virtual means of contact for routine use, e.g. ZOOM, HD Meetings, TEAMS, FaceTime, etc

Pay:
$66, $68,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
Experience:
- working with people with autism or other disabilities: 2 years (preferred)
Language:
- Korean (required)
