    Position: Regional Director

    Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt

    Location: Remote

    Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm; occasional evenings

    Reports To: Chief Operating Officer

    Salary: $125,000 - $135,000

    Travel Requirement: 10%

The EparaTodos program was designed to support Latinx entrepreneurs where they are, with programs run entirely in Spanish. The success of our programs inspires us each day: Over 1,400 startups launched; 84% women-owned, 69% BIPOC owned, and 31% immigrant-owned; 70% of EforAll businesses are still operating after 3 years; and $66 million in alumni revenue and 2,108 jobs generated in 2022.

    EforAll seeks a Regional Director who is adept at business management and is operations-focused. Providing a supportive day-to-day leadership presence, the Regional Director is attentive to achieving consolidated goals.     The Position: The Regional Director serves as a thought partner stewarding the mission of EforAll, and managing and mentoring a team of site-based Executive Directors who are responsible for coordinating and implementing the EforAll/EparaTodos program model. This role involves a dynamic combination of operational and budgetary oversight, process improvement, and professional learning communities for Senior leaders. The Regional Director ensures local programs align with EforAll's vision and will contribute to organizational development and capacity building. With a focus on continued innovation, a love of teaching and learning, and excellence in all program efforts, the Regional Director leads with confidence and fosters a collaborative workplace grounded in mutual respect.

    Operational Oversight: EforAll staff work with passion, ensuring ongoing programmatic excellence. We are a collaborative, thoughtful team of humble rock stars. The Regional Director provides strong internal coordination and communication to the Executive Directors while leading initiatives to enhance processes and procedures within the region, streamlining workflows for improved efficiency. As a problem solver with strong business acumen, the Regional Director identifies and addresses operational challenges and the impact of process improvements. The Regional Director remains nimble adapting strategies and escalating themes and needs for Organizational improvements to the COO.

    • Set and monitor goals for Executive Directors and site teams in the areas of fundraising, program metrics, staff, volunteer, and Leadership Council engagement.
    • Make informed and timely decisions that align with organizational goals.
    • Attend site events, programs, and key Leadership Council meetings to provide support and oversight.
    • Lead the site hiring processes for Executive Directors.

    Program Model Compliance:

    With a "roll up your sleeves" attitude, the Regional Director is proactive and fosters organizational effectiveness. Ensuring that daily operations are professionally and efficiently organized and administered requires an approach that is both strategic and tactical and aligns with the organizational vision. Working collaboratively across the Programs, Development, and Finance teams the Regional Director ensures sites have the appropriate capacity, resources, and capabilities to provide quality programming and maintain the integrity of the EforAll program model. The Regional Director assesses and reports on the operational performance of programs within their region while managing pain points.

    • Collaborate with Program Teams to guarantee the smooth and effective day-to-day operations of quality programs and services.
    • Implement and share best practices in process improvement and professional development throughout the organization.
    • Support Executive Directors in achieving key performance metrics and organizational goals.

    Financial Oversight:

    The RD is a knowledgeable leader with the ability to support the Executive Directors with budgeting and financial oversight of their sites. The position requires a skilled communicator with exceptional business acumen who can guide with patience and understanding while navigating a wide range of budgeting skills. The Regional Director will hold individuals accountable by monitoring performance against budget and by progress toward fundraising goals to ensure financial stability and appropriate resource allocation. The RD is transparent, leads with integrity, and has a passion for coaching staff in the complexities of financial management.

    • Assist Executive Directors in creating budgets and managing revenue and expenses.
    • Works closely with Executive Directors and the Vice President of Finance to effectively manage and oversee budgets across multiple sites within the region.
    • Provides oversight of financial reporting, meticulously analyzing variances, and proactively addressing any budgetary concerns that may arise.
    • Support practices, financial policies, and regulatory guidelines provided by Finance.

    People Management:

    The Regional Director is the lead resource for EforAll Executive Directors. With high emotional intelligence, the Regional Director navigates difficult conversations, conflicts, boundaries, and staff accountability. By actively engaging the Executive Directors, the Regional Director builds a high-performing team aligned in organizational vision leveraging the strengths of each individual. The Regional Director cultivates an environment where all voices are heard, and new perspectives are welcome.

    • Inspire collaboration, thoughtfully listen, and respect the abilities of others.
    • Collaborates and builds peer-to-peer learning communities and opportunities for ED professional development.
    • Strategizes with ED to manage internal and external stakeholders, including donors, Leadership Councils, partnerships with the National office, volunteers, and staff.

    Skills and Abilities:

    • High level of emotional intelligence to effectively coach and support executive-level staff.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external partners.
    • Proven experience in successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
    • Excellent documentation, time management, and organizational skills.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (master's preferred).
    • Minimum of five years of experience in managing teams (remote environment experience preferred).
    • 7+ years of experience managing people for a non-profit organization or related industry.
    • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
    • Proficient in using Google Workspace and video conferencing, and quick to adapt to new software applications.
    • Ability to travel as needed.
